With any big, life altering decision, the first step is simply acknowledging, “Yes, I’m thinking about it.” Really, that goes for just about anything, right? A road trip across America – thinking about it. Proposing to your would-be better half – thinking about it. Taking a new job – thinking about it. The first part of any decision is pondering whether or not it actually makes sense. That goes for choosing to have a cosmetic procedure or surgery, as well. So! You’re thinking about it. Thinking about whether or not a cosmetic procedure makes sense for you.

We’ve all done it.

 In a movie theater, a trailer plays. Some well-known actress appears on screen, looking wonderful despite the fact she has been a leading lady for decades. The natural reaction – whether it’s said aloud or simply thought silently – is, “She must have had some work done.” Maybe she has. Maybe she hasn’t. But one assumption that thought process might lead to is that cosmetic procedures, surgical and non-invasive alike, are something meant only for the Hollywood elite. That assumption is wrong. Cosmetic procedures, today more than ever, are a viable option for everyone. SAG card not required.
