Facial Fat transfer

Facial Fat Transfer

Fat transfer, also called fat grafting, involves taking fat from one area of the body (the harvest site) and moving it to another area of the body (the target site). Facial fat transfer is a small volume fat transfer procedure during which several tablespoons of fat are transferred from the designated harvest site to areas of on the face that have lost volume. Because the patient’s own fat is used in the procedure, the results are often more natural and softer than other types of implants or dermal fillers.

Fat transfer can be performed on almost any part of the body. Face fat transfer recovery is faster than many other facial enhancements, and our patients are very satisfied with the results that are achieved after the facial fat transfer procedure is complete.
