None of us are going to magically stop aging. Which means none of us are going to magically avoid looking older. It’s a race against time and, spoiler alert, we always lose! Don’t let that reality be overly daunting or depressing, though, because while the existence of magic isn’t up for discussion, there are real-life, readily available options for you to achieve looking younger. Is Eyelid Lift Surgery Right for You?

40 might be the new 20, but that doesn’t change the fact that as we age, our bodies change.  That goes for our faces too, specifically the area around our eyes and eyelids. Maybe you have already noticed it. Bags under your eyes that make up can no longer hide. Droopy eyelids that  having your friends ask if you are getting enough sleep. If our eyes are the mirror to our soul then there may be no area that reflects our age more then the facial skin around them.  Although it may be inevitable it is also correctable with a relatively simple cosmetic surgery procedure known as blepharoplasty, or more simply, eyelid lift surgery.

Blepharoplasty, anyone?

We frequently get asked about lines and wrinkles around the eyes and on the upper and lower eyelids.  These areas are so visible, and really encompass the focal point when we look at one another.  As with any other area, time and the environment gradually chip away at the firmness of youth.  The result?  An aged appearance, lines, wrinkles, perhaps some puffiness, and excess skin.

Botox Cosmetic and Xeomin may be the answer - a great choice for smoothing lines and wrinkles between the brows (frown lines), on the forehead, and crow's feet (smile lines next to the eyes).  Botox works by calming the tiny muscles in the face that pull on the skin.  Less pull, smoother skin.
